Hey, everyone.
Happy Easter! Christ is Risen! (That’s right! The Easter season continues.)
Welcome back to The Collect for Link’s Links. Today is Friday, May 3rd. Here are some things I found interesting this week, and think you should check out too:
Link’s Links, May 3rd
Read: I started reading C.S. Lewis’s Till We Have Faces last night, and I’m a fan thus far! I’ve heard good things about it, but I must say that my favorite Lewis book is easily The Great Divorce, which I highly recommend. Here’s the Amazon link, or I have no doubt you can find it wherever books are sold.
Listen: Do you ever hear a song and think “That would be perfect for a swing dance?” Check out ‘Whole Lotta Little’ by Emily Ann Roberts and you will. It’s the perfect mix of upbeat while still having a very steady, danceable tempo. Listen on Spotify or YouTube.
Learn: As I have featured before, Overly Sarcastic Productions is one of my top YouTube channels to watch, especially for educational purposes; check out their latest video, on how Athenian democracy was actually invented.
Pray: Today is the feast of two Apostles, Saints Philip and James, who are both named in the Gospels. Take the opportunity to pray with today’s daily readings from the USCCB, which includes both of the Saints by name!
